What to Expect
From the first moment you walk in the doors, we will make the greatest effort to help you feel welcome, comfortable and well-informed. You'll be greeted with a smile, and a free coffee will be waiting for you! Expect to feel at home.
If you have kids, please check them into the Kids Centre; their safety is our top priority and they will have tons of fun! We gather in the 2nd auditorium for an engaging time of worship, and a powerful message from God's Word. We finish at about 11:10am, at which time you are free to go, or welcome to stay to attend our Growth Track classes during the following 20 minutes.

Values and Beliefs
Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus. In doing that, our vision is to connect with God, connect with people, and connect people with their God-given purpose.

Pastor Pedro and Rute Pires
In 1999, pastors Pedro and Rute moved to Canada to pastor a local ethnic church. Led by God and due to his evangelistic call, in 2004 Pastor Pedro planted a church in Benguela, Angola, Africa. Today he gives spiritual leadership to 30+ churches in Angola.
After a couple of years in Canada, he felt that God was leading him to establish an English-speaking congregation. In 2014, together with a group of young families, they planted Connect Church in Northeast Edmonton.
Pastors Pedro and Rute are passionate about helping people to know God, discover their God-given purpose, and pursue it to the fullest.
